Doors and drawers that stop just short
An undercounter unit lives at knee height, and it gets treated that way: drawers pushed shut with a foot, a door nudged closed with a hip while both hands are full. Blocked or dusty, it makes the unit run longer and leaves the compartment merely cool rather than cold. Only once the seal and the air are both cleared do we open up the unit’s own refrigeration.
