Which of these can I sort out myself?
The checks listed on each page: the set points, a door held open by something inside, a filter that is not fully seated, a tripped breaker, lint on a grille you can vacuum. Sealed tubing, wiring and anything fastened with screws is service work, and poking at it usually turns a simple repair into a longer one.
