Why the door comes back
A built-in Sub-Zero door is heavy and shuts against a magnetic seal, so anything touching its inner face will push it back. Tall jars in the door bins or a pizza box past the shelf edge are the usual culprits. The service manual names two causes for a door left ajar: food in the way, and a hinge problem.
When the hinge is the answer
